A Professional Chef Experience at The Mountain Road Resort at Stowe

We are pleased to announce a weekend filled with education and relaxation.  Our in-house Executive Chef Jeff Brynn is hosting a “learn to cook in the Mediterranean Style” weekend.   

This is a hands on certificate program where our guests will learn cooking techniques and styles.  The cost of the entire weekend is $350.00. 

This includes Premier Deluxe accommodations, wine and appetizer reception, instruction and a framed graduation certificate.  This program is offered the weekend of May 23, 2008 (May 23/24/2008).  Additional guests may attend the course for $100.00

About Chef Jeff Brynn:

Chef Brynn is a New England Culinary School Graduate, the former Head Chef at Cipriani’s in Steamboat Springs, CO, the Executive Chef and the former Owner of the highly respected Olives Bistro in Stowe and the Owner/Head Baker of the New Zealand Bakery & Café.

Jeff currently directs Guest Services at The Mountain Road Resort and serves as our Executive Chef.   Jeff has been teaching cooking skills for more than ten years and loves to share his passion and knowledge with others. He began his teaching career working with high school students in New Zealand teaching the fundamentals of baking and the bakery business. After that he moved to Olives Bistro in Stowe.  While there he instructed New England Culinary Institute interns on all aspects of food preparation, selection and final presentation. 

Chef Brynn then started his own private culinary instruction business.  Food Doctor 911 – a business focused on teaching amateur students of all skill levels how to prepare tasty and nutritious meals.
